Dear Warranty Direct:

I phoned Warranty Direct today to get some information on extending their coverage of my vehicle past the current expiration on the service contract I already hold with them. I spoke with “Kelly” who provided the information I needed in a most courteous and professional manner.

I just wanted to let you know that the service that I have received through Warranty Direct has been nothing short of exceptional. In an industry (extended auto warranties) that everyone warns is rife with scams and misrepresentations, Warranty Direct has been a model of customer service and integrity.

Although I love my 2002 Toyota Camry and assumed that I would never even need an extended warranty on a vehicle that has been so reliable over the years — I have to say that several unusual problems have occurred with my car. One poor idle situation that I thought was nothing more than a minor ignition problem — turned out to be a very expensive “air intake” component that had to be replaced with an OEM part at considerable cost. Several other costly repairs were needed shortly during the course of my ownership. It’s not that my Camry was unreliable, it’s just that the replacement parts and service are so incredibly expensive. The days of the hundred dollar fix are gone forever. So my extended warranty has proven a great investment and brought much peace of mind.

On the basis on my experiences, I would recommend Warranty Direct to anyone who appreciates the assurance of knowing that if help is needed, this is a company that performs as promised.

Sincerely,

M. Cinquemani

Dear Warranty Direct:

I would NEVER buy a new car without Warranty Direct coverage. Anybody who does is a damned fool. The one claim you paid for my wife’s transmission covered the premium for three vehicles. The service manager at the Honda dealership was stunned as how quickly the claim was handled. At my age, I may never buy another car so I am really glad I have it. I am an attorney and we are usually careful about what we say but you may quote any part of what I’ve said as long as you do not take it out of context.

I have been a customer of Warranty Direct for several years now and recently had my vehicle in the local Mercedes dealership for some complications; on one occasion to replace the shifter and just recently the CD changer was replaced. Andree was the representative of Warranty Direct I dealt with on 03/31/08 and she was superb in being the liaison between the Mercedes Benz service personnel and me in insuring the proper information was exchanged before repairs were made. She was very informative with me and explained everything in exact, full detail, and was expeditious in resolving all matters. No delays, hang ups or confusion.

My personal thanks to Andree for her professionalism, courtesy and the overall way in which she handled this particular claim.

I chose Warranty Direct after much research and reading a review by a car consumer guru of sorts that described you as the Rolls Royce of Warranty Companies. My experience with Andree confirms that and much more and I will continue to use you in the future and recommend you to anyone considering an extended warranty!!

Each month, Warranty Direct surveys its customers to solicit their valuable feedback. One question we ask is, “What was the single most important factor in your decision to choose Warranty Direct?” Here are some of their answers.

I had a 5 year plan with Warranty Direct on this vehicle and was very satisfied with the service. I decided to continue coverage with you for 3 more years.

It has worked so well in the past and it gives me peace of mind!

I used your company in the past and found it to be great.

Previous favorable experiences with your company.

I had your extended warranty before and I was very pleased with it.

Our mechanic who has worked on our cars for years strongly recommended you.

Coverage related to price.

Positive reviews from other buyers in various other places on the Internet and then the positive response I received from you after accessing your site.

Ratings/Reputation.

Reputation.

The most important factor was the quality of the coverage offered.

Price & length of years service.

The Warranty Direct website offered the much more information on the warranty plans they offer than any other warranty company’s website. I felt as if all the other companies I had considered had something to hide since they were not as forthcoming as Warranty Direct.

Length of time in business.

More consumers choose Warranty Direct than any other direct to consume extended warranty company.

Thank you for sending the extended warranty rate quote I requested, however, it was not for my car. I was sitting in the car dealer’s service department waiting room. A person was just told that the part that needs replacing is not covered under his extended warranty. He was telling me that he is out of pocket on every claim he has made so far.

I shared with him about Warranty Direct and the tremendous reliability that I have experienced with your company over the years with no deductible. So my effort on my lap top computer was an effort to bring you new business.

The guy I talked to will not be coming to Warranty Direct immediately since he has other coverage, but he left thanking me and said his next car is going to be insured with your company. He said that will probably be early next year.

This notice is regarding companies using automated dialing systems, which is the use of a pre-recorded announcement calling consumers. This is illegal and Warranty Direct does NOT engage in nor support this type of activity.

Warranty Direct products are ONLY available through Warranty Direct and its web site located at www.WarrantyDirect.com. The ONLY way Warranty Direct would contact you would be if you visited our web site and provided your contact information.

Recently we have had many complaints from consumers calling us to ask us to take them off of our “list”. This is being done through automated dialing systems and apparently people are being told that Warranty Direct is calling. Some of them are even falsifying their Caller IDs to say that Warranty Direct is calling. This is absolutely NOT the case.

We take pride in conducting our business to the very highest ethical standards. We are very disturbed and concerned about our name being falsely used in this way, and if we are able to find the party or parties involved, we WILL take action against those companies or individuals.

In order to do that, we need your help to find out which companies or individuals are doing this. If you can get a phone number, an address or any information at all, please forward it to us. If they tell you they are with Warranty Direct, ask them for a phone number that you can call them right back on. Any information you get can help.

You may call us at (800) 632-4222 or email us at info@warrantydirect.com

We take this as seriously as you do, and we want to take action to make it stop. We just have to find those responsible, and as of yet we have not been able to do so.

Each month, we survey every person who purchased an automobile extended warranty from Warranty Direct. We are always striving to become easier to do business with and take customer feedback very seriously.

We asked our customer to name the most important factor in choosing Warranty Direct. Here are some of their answers…

1. There was no single factor. I chose Warranty Direct, because the rep that I spoke with, John, was very pleasant and he covered everything in our conversation that I wanted to know about the warranty.

2. Trustworthy company based on my research.

3. Thorough coverage, including wear and tear.

4. A member of the Better Business Bureau.

5. Extent of the coverage, recommendations from independent sources.

6. Recommended by Edmunds & the BBB.

7. Your financial condition and reputation in the industry was the threshold issue for me. I would not have purchased insurance from Warranty Direct if I did not think you could deliver.

8. The young man I talked with did not denigrate the company I had already purchased coverage from – just asked me to please read the BBB reports then make up my mind.

9. Price, coverage, history. You have the total package.

10. I had a policy with Warranty Direct on my last vehicle and the service was great. Initially it was the excellent value.

11. The plan was endorsed by my trusted mechanic.

12. The reputation and rating of your company.

13. Research on the internet indicated the reliability and service of your company was better than other companies. You were not the least expensive.

14. The in-depth information on your web site including the actual warranty contracts. Other companies had vague and misleading information. One company wanted a $100 deposit just to be able to read their contract.

15. Sales and support (claims handling) in one company. I read horror stories of dealing with warranty brokers.

16. Value – price vs. what you receive.

More consumers choose Warranty Direct than any other direct to consumer warranty company.

More automotive web sites recommend Warranty Direct than any other direct to consumer warranty company

We hope we can earn your business. Click here for a free, instant online extended warranty quote.

Dear Warranty Direct:

I’m not one to write reviews, but in this case I just have to tell you how impressed I and the Infiniti dealer I recently visited are!

I purchased my 2001 Infiniti and a Warranty Direct extended warranty contract just two over weeks ago and decided to have my car checked over ASAP. The service department told me I had a problem with a “seized-up caliper” which needed to be replaced immediately for safety reasons.

I mentioned my new warranty. They told me I would probably need to pay up front, since they had never dealt with Warranty Direct, but I asked them to give you a call. When the service manager reappeared after making the call, he said that he was VERY impressed with your claims person and that he had never received an answer so quickly from an extended warranty company!
It was all taken care of very efficiently and I am so happy that I purchased my warranty. I hope we don’t have to call you often (no offense), but I know now that I have a great warranty company! Thank you.

Sincerely,

Hi. After much consideration and reading all of the web sites out there offering warranties, people look at me when I tell them I bought the best warranty on line. I have referred several people to you because of the great service I have received. I actually have never had to deal with anyone but the salesman when I signed up but the dealership deals with lots of different warranty companies and is VERY impressed with the speed of payment and the ‘no hassle’ in order to get paid.
I, like your other Warranty Direct customers, will not hesitate in buying a used vehicle again and without hesitation will get my warranty through you….never again through the dealers (who offered me a warranty for $4,000)!
Thank you for your honesty and professionalism! Its great knowing that the money I laid out is not a waste and certainly provides peace of mind!
