As with any home appliance or equipment we have in our home, vehicles have problems too and they need check-ups!
There are some that are considered the top ten car problems, however, and to ensure you are getting top performance from your vehicle, here is a list of our top ten.
Remember, preventative maintenance for all of these components is a good way to ensure they won’t fail.

Chrysler has been through the wringer ever since Lee Iacocca came and left.
They’ve been owned by American investors, German/American investors, and now back to all American investors and they still seem to be able to provide some really good cars in both economy and sedan models.
Chrysler may try to do some recycling at their plants in the US, and after many years of calling for one, they finally have the 2009 Aspen SUV hybrid—about time! A Chrysler spokesperson said once that their diesels were their hybrids—okay?
In any event, we took a look at two family sedans and whichever one you choose, don’t forget to buy a Chrysler extended warranty to help your resale or trade-in values or for those needed repairs once your 3 year warranty runs out. Read more...

Your vehicles cooling system is important, so keeping it checked and receiving regular maintenance on it is best to keep it in top shape. If you car runs hot a lot, this can damage your cooling system.
Beyond just the cooling system flush, there are other items you should consider when it’s time to service your car’s cooling system.
So you don’t do damage to other components like pistons, pins, crankshaft, or bearings a cooling system check-up should be performed at least once a year or if you think you have problems, seek out your mechanic right away.
Some later model vehicles can trap air that reduces heater output—this can create harm to the engine. Read more...

Chevrolet has an awesome website that even has a tab for safety.
We liked this because it told us all about the On-Star feature they offer on some models that can help you if you’re in an accident, run out of gas, or just breakdown. The On-Star is a smart system and every automaker should be looking close at Chevrolet.
They offer the best of the Big Three when it comes to hybrids, a car, the Malibu, a truck, the Silverado, and the Tahoe, an SUV—what a choice! Again, however, this Big Three Company mentioned nothing on their website about how this manufacturing company is being environmentally responsible—what’s with the Big Three anyway on this subject?
