Your bang on. Thats one of the reason’s some auto producers are in big trouble right now. I mean just recently pontiac called it’s quiting time. If your not producing quality cars that are worth the money you pay for it then quite simply people won’t buy it.

Well i when it comes to a car i always think about it’s performance then comes the durability. But just because of that it doesn’t mean the look is not important. This article gives a great idea with good comparison.

Yes durability and reliability will save you money in the end, and what is more annoying than have to service your car every month when small things break down.

Another aspect not to forget is how fuel efficient a car is, who knows the oil price-in 5 years from now?

A good tip if you don’t need a car on daily basis or if you don’t have to represent with it, buy a cheap secondhand and rent a better one for situations when you need a more presentable car.

Nice post. Don’t go for the exterior look. There are lots of other aspects to check before you buy it. So please try to check the dependability of the car. But if it’s not dependable you will start ti hate your car.

The current economic crisis and the drop in motor vehicle sales shows us that people are afraid to use their money on vehicles. This clearly shows us how unpredictable it can be. If you have a dependable car you won’t have to worry for a long long time. But people who went for nicer outer look instead of the dependability of the car are surely in for a rough ride.

Great article. I am currently driving a Honda Civic and I must that from all the vehicles I have had this is the one that has given the least amount of trouble for the longest period of time. What I don’t understand is why people don’t look into all these before buying a vehicle.

Totally agree with you on buying reliable and durable cars. We see alot of people go for fast cars these days and end up in heaps of trouble. Do you know anythin about small SUV’s made by nissan??? how are their durability??? especially when the terrain is not ideal….

Totally agree with you. The vehicle should be dependable. The durability and comfort levels should be good. It’s very important to check these facts before you buy a vehicle.

I agree with Home security. Reliability is the key factor. but where I come from cars need to be extra durable too. The rough terrain and harsh roads beats the car a lot. I’m driving a Honda CRV and apart for few technical problems it has been really dependable and reliable.
