This notice is regarding companies using automated dialing systems, which is the use of a pre-recorded announcement calling consumers. This is illegal and Warranty Direct does NOT engage in nor support this type of activity.

Warranty Direct products are ONLY available through Warranty Direct and its web site located at www.WarrantyDirect.com. The ONLY way Warranty Direct would contact you would be if you visited our web site and provided your contact information.

Recently we have had many complaints from consumers calling us to ask us to take them off of our “list”. This is being done through automated dialing systems and apparently people are being told that Warranty Direct is calling. Some of them are even falsifying their Caller IDs to say that Warranty Direct is calling. This is absolutely NOT the case. 

We take pride in conducting our business to the very highest ethical standards. We are very disturbed and concerned about our name being falsely used in this way, and if we are able to find the party or parties involved, we WILL take action against those companies or individuals.

In order to do that, we need your help to find out which companies or individuals are doing this. If you can get a phone number, an address or any information at all, please forward it to us.  If they tell you they are with Warranty Direct, ask them for a phone number that you can call them right back on. Any information you get can help.

We take this as seriously as you do, and we want to take action to make it stop. We just have to find those responsible, and as of yet we have not been able to do so.
