A new car comes with several different warranties from the factory, each covering specific parts of your vehicle.
Manufacturer’s Warranties
Basic Warranty – The specific terms established by each manufacturer (typically 3 years/36,000 miles for domestic and Asian vehicles and 4 years/50,000 miles for luxury cars) to repair vehicles for a specific time and/or mileage period. All factory installed parts and some dealer installed accessories are covered for defects and workmanship. Consumable items (tires, wiper blades, battery) are not covered under the basic warranty, although some of these parts may have their own warranty. I’m not one to write reviews, but in this case I just have to tell you how impressed I and the Infiniti dealer I recently visited are!
I purchased my 2001 Infiniti and a Warranty Direct extended warranty contract just two over weeks ago and decided to have my car checked over ASAP. The service department told me I had a problem with a “seized-up caliper” which needed to be replaced immediately for safety reasons. Read more...

Hi. After much consideration and reading all of the web sites out there offering warranties, people look at me when I tell them I bought the best warranty on line. I have referred several people to you because of the great service I have received. I actually have never had to deal with anyone but the salesman when I signed up but the dealership deals with lots of different warranty companies and is VERY impressed with the speed of payment and the ‘no hassle’ in order to get paid.
I, like your other Warranty Direct customers, will not hesitate in buying a used vehicle again and without hesitation will get my warranty through you….never again through the dealers (who offered me a warranty for $4,000)!
Thank you for your honesty and professionalism! Its great knowing that the money I laid out is not a waste and certainly provides peace of mind!
